MESOTHELIOMA

A non-familiar word crossed my word when i was browsing a book regarding illness..The word is "MESOTHELIOMA"

What is a Mesothelioma?

Mesothelioma is a malignant TUMOUR of the Pleura of the Chest cavity and also of the PERICARDUIM or PERITONEUM. It is usually associated with exposure to asbestos dust but may rise independently with no known cause. Mose mesotheliomas are in sites that render them inoperable, and CHEMOTHERAPY and RADIOTHERAPY are used but often with limited success.

I have read that there is no early symptoms of these illness. Sad to say it would be a diagnosed at its late stage. So if you are exposed in asbestos, it is advised to have a early check up or chest X-ray for early detection of the illness.

This is where we are attending our masteral studies at Batangas State University. We're just five (5) in the class. Yes, just five MS CoE (computer engineering) Students. I am taking 3 subjects with 3 units each and 3 hours each subjects.

I decided to take my Masteral to refresh my mind of what i have studied in my undergraduate studies. It was stuck and i haven't used it since i graduated in college. Also, additional credentials for my job and soon to be jobs...

anyway, i'm with my Co-employee, Sir Jex..we take the same subjects..

I have these pictures while waiting for our professor..but sad to say, he was late and just appeared in our 2nd subject..

Im glad that i'm with Sir Jex., coz for sure if im just alone, i would be definitely bored waiting for my professor..

and being with him makes no dull moment..you wouldn't realize the time....he is one funny guy,.

By the way, he is also a blogger,.. you can check his site entitled "Talent Over Mastering".

Giving sad news to a troop

The Captain called the Sergeant in. "Sarge, I just got a telegram that Private Jones' mother died yesterday. Better go tell him and send him in to see me."

So the Sergeant calls for his morning formation and lines up all the troops. "Listen up, men," says the Sergeant. "Johnson, report to the mess hall for KP. Smith, report to Personnel to sign some papers. The rest of you men report to the Motor Pool for maintenance. Oh by the way, Jones, your mother died, report to the commander."

Later that day the Captain called the Sergeant into his office. "Hey, Sarge, that was a pretty cold way to inform Jones his mother died. Couldn't you be a bit more tactful, next time?"

"Yes, sir," answered the Sarge.

A few months later, the Captain called the Sergeant in again with, "Sarge, I just got a telegram that Private McGrath's mother died. You'd better go tell him and send him in to see me. This time be more tactful."

So the Sergeant calls for his morning formation. "Ok, men, fall in and listen up." "Everybody with a mother, take two steps forward." "Not so fast, McGrath!"

Mind over matter

Mind over matter...

do you use thing kind of thinking?
does it helps you?
How do you do it?

Mind over matter is a phrase popularized during the 1960s and 1970s that was originally used in reference to paranormal phenomena, especially Psychokinesis. However, it has also been used in reference to mind-centric spiritual and philosophic doctrines such as responsibility assumption. It is the belief that the mind is more powerful than the body. Specifically, mind over matter refers to controlling pain that you may or may not be experiencing, such as holding your hand under extremely hot water and feeling no pain. Also, "self-help" personalities such as Tony Robbins claim that, through the power of concentration and "positive thinking", people can walk on hot coals without getting burned. This claim is made despite the fact that there are solid, scientific explanations for firewalking. The phrase is present in the 2000s as well, usually used as slogan by hackers and hacker sites. (Based on wikipedia)

Anyway, hmm actually guys, i does this sometimes..the power of our minds are so strong, it can control our emotions, our senses specially..

Love Poems

*Every night I imagine touching your face,
but nothing is there except empty space.
My dreams are filled with visions of eternal bliss,
sealed by your tender and heavenly kiss.
I awake from my dreams,
yearning to hold you near,
searching but not finding bringing me to tears.
I lie there thinking about how you showed me love,
making me wonder if you were sent from heaven above.
I fall asleep knowing that you are in my mind and my heart,
for love is eternal and we will never be apart

ANNDRIA TURNER

Better than I was...
more than I am...
and all of this happened
with the touch of your hand.
And who I am now is
who I've wanted to be...
and now that we're together
I'm stronger than ever,
happy and free.
It's a beautiful thing--
don't think I can keep it all in...
I just got to let you know
what it is that won't let me go--
it's your love.
It just does something to me...
sends a shock right through me
and I can't get enough.

If you wonder about the spell I'm under--
It's your love.

From the song IT'S YOUR LOVE by TIM MCGRAW AND FAITH HILL

I thought of that old joke
This guy goes to a psychiatrist and says,
"Doc, my brother's crazy, he thinks he's a chicken." And the doctor says,
"Well why don't you turn him in?" and the guy says,
"I would, but I need the eggs."
Well, I guess that's pretty much now how I feel about relationships.
They're totally irrational and Crazy and absurd, but I guess we keep going through it
because most of us need the eggs.

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

Fwd [uplbbetasigma] Fwd How t3.jpg

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height.
Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay them.

2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down.
(Keep this In mind if you are one of those grouches;)

3. Keep learning.
Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever.
Never let the brain get idle.
"An idle mind is the devil's workshop."
And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and Lots of time with HIM/HER.

6. The tears happen.
Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with you your entire
life, is yourself. LIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love
whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health.
If it is good, preserve it.
I f it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips.
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

God bless y'aLL !

won't change anything

Why there things in our past that we always go back...

Someone tells me because it is still not closed..

I thought we closed it already...we have our new life now..separated with each other..and will never be together again..

so why bother to repeat and talk about it all over again..talking about it doesn't change anything..and won't change anything..

i don't want history to repeat itself..

Life quotes

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes. - Charles R. Swindoll

High Performance Computing (HPC)

This is an example of a High Performance Computing (HPC).
These are called "HPC clusters".

This is one of my subject in my Masteral Degree. And we are planning to visit a company where in they are these HPC clusters.

Hope they will accommodate us so we can really see what an HPC really looks like and how it really works.

Relationships

Are you in a relationship right now??

hmm Me? Im in the middle of YES and NO...confusing, isn't it? hehehe

it means, its complicated...which is, why life is so complicated..or should i say, why i always go for a complicated relationship..and make my life complicated..but not miserable huh..

it's been 9 months since my last relationship..and i can say, that i already moved on..i'm done with the "letting go" stage...(don't know if he's done with that though he has a new girlfriend hehe peace)..and the sweetest thing after is to stand up and be whole again after being broken into pieces..why sweetest? for it is not easy to cope the "so much inlove" thing after broke up..not easy to accept that things will never be the same again..that i'm on my own now again..not easy to accept that there are part of the relationship that are just lies and pretensions..that it is possible that "love" doesn't exist with him..just his ego..oops.. ;p

but as time goes by, though everything said and done are still remembered, they are all just become a history, a past...what we had, we felt, we shared will just be part of my life, my memories...now, we're friends,..oh...don't think about "we're still inlove with each other" that's why we're still friends..in my part, i can still be his friend, because, it is much ok if we're friends than enemies..i don't wanna be miserable because i cant forgive him..forgive myself...it's forgive then forget...that's it... :))...

all i wish, we both find our happiness...

so as of now, i have my special someone..we're not in a bf/gf relationship..but we're in good terms.."more than friends but less than a lover"..but as long as we're happy and we're not doing anything wrong..no one have the right to complain or judge us..right?

just mind your own business....

have a nice day guys...
