why does people keep telling lies??

they say, to keep them in hurting people...for their sake..

don't they know that telling lies will hurt more than telling the truth..

yes, they can prevent for that moment to hurt them but eventually, if those people will know the truth..it would hurt them so much..deeply hurt..
and then what? regret it for not telling the truth from the start..

you tell a lie today,... then tomorrow and then what everyday??
your white lies will grow into a bigger lie,...
bigger lie that cannot be hidden forever...
