Effective today....

January 31, 2009....my resignation is effective today..I'll be living the first company I worked for. I can say that I've been happy with my work here and specially with my officemates. I made new friends at work. And so many memories to treasure.
Am I going out of the country?? It was always the question to me why I am leaving. But I am not, I'll just be going home. For 2 years, I let my Mom live alone in the province. Though I visit her once or twice a month, it is still different if I stay with her at home. So now, I granted her wish, I'll be working there and I'll be staying home for good.

My niece

She's cute, right? she's my niece, my only niece.
some says that she looks like a 1-year-old child..but she's just 8-months old. She's a darling.
I visit her once a month and she really grew faster. Looking to her can make your tiredness gone. And you can feel so happy with a simple smile from her.

This is Yvonne with her Mama and Papa..
she knows how to project to the camera... :)

My mom

In my 24 years in this world, God has been very good to me. Though we grow up without a father (my father died when I was 7 and my brother was 9 years old ), we, especially me, never looked or feel the need for a father. Because we have mom, who love us so much. She never married again after my father, she dedicated her life on us. I have seen all the sacrifices, and the hard works she does just for us to finish college. I, as a Computer Engineering graduate and my brother as Drafting engineering technology graduate. I really can't imagine neither think how she supported us. So now is time for us to take the responsibility for our family, specially me. It is because my brother already have his own family.

We are really blessed to have her in our life. She is a friend, a sister, a brother, and a mother. She is everything to me. I don't know what my life would be if I don't have her in my life. I will give her the best life. And I will be there for her no matter what.

John 6:1-13

A Little Boy Helps Jesus

Great crowds of people followed Jesus to hear Him teach about God's love for them. Sometimes they forgot to take food with them.

One day a huge crowd of 5,000 men and their families followed Jesus. It was late in the day when they reached Him, and the people were getting hungry.

Only one boy had any food - just five small loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus blessed the food. His followers and helpers gave it to the people. Everyone had plenty to eat. And the helpers gathered up to 12 baskets of leftover food.

Love the Gift, Love the Giver

Four-year-old Tina asked her mother one day,
Mama, how can I love God when I can't see Him?

Her mother pointed to the cuddly stuffed toy Tina was playing with. "That teddy bear -- who gave it to you last Christmas?" Tina's mom asked.

"Auntie Minda!" Tina said proudly.

"Have you ever seen Auntie Minda?" her mother asked.

"Of course not. She's in Italy!" Tina replied.

"But do you love her?"

"I love Auntie Minda! I love all the nice things she sends me," Tina said.

"Well, Tina, you love Auntie Minda even if you can't see her. In the same way, you can love God -- the Giver of all the things you love -- even if you can't see Him."

Tina looked at her two pet rabbits in a cage, het pet dog running around, her pet fish in the aquarium and smiled widely.

Prayer:
I may not see You, O Lord,
But I believe in Your Word.
For me You broygh forth
All the creatures on earth! Amen.

God's Plan

"It is sometimes very difficult
for us to understand the wisdom
and the love behind
the things
that God has planned.

But we would both have the rainbow
If we did not have the rain
We would not know the pleasure

If we never tasted pain.

We would not love the sunrise
If we had not felt the night;

And we would not know our weakness
If we had not sensed God's might.

We could not have the springtime

or the yellow daffodil

if we had not experienced
the winter's frosty chill.

And though the brilliant sunshine
is something God has made.

He knew too much could parch
our souls
so He created shade.

So God has given us a balance:
Enough joy to keep us glad
Enough tears to keep us humble,

Enough good to balance bad.

And if you will trust in Him you will see

Through yesterday brought sorrow,

The clouds will part and dawn
will bring
A happier tomorrow.
